1. To receive funds, a request would have to be made to the board and then approved by the board.
1. assistance with medical bills
2. hardships due to forced terminations
3. special leadership training requests
4. building projects
5. and countless other requests that might be submitted.

Of course, available funds would be the major limiting factor and certainly, not all requests could be approved. The potential is unbelievable. How many times have you needed a place to turn to for help and came away disappointed. "Bivo's Helping Bivo's" just makes sense !

The suggestion is that we Bivo's request our churches place the Fellowship in their budgets at the rate of $20.00 per month. That is an amount that even the smallest church could participate in. Some have already requested, received approval, and sent in their membership (either $240 per year or $20.00 monthly)

We have 971 Bi-vocationally pastored LBC Churches (1211 considered Smaller Churches). If 500 of you supported this idea, the fist year would generate $120,000.00.

Bivo's Helping Bivo's is nothing new, it is the Baptist Way, the only difference is, there will be not administrative fees required, just assistance. I don't mean to limit the concept, because if this were to be offered nation-wide (SBC), and all 17,000 Bivo's joined together to help each other, then $4,080,000.00 would need some administration. Until then, all proceeds would be used to assist and promote Bivo's in the LBC, governed by Bivo's.
