  • Dr. Robertson began his work with the LBC in 2007. With more than 35 years of ministry experience, he has served as a pastor and President of the Louisiana Baptist Convention. He is a graduate of Louisiana College and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

  • Jo Lynn Chesser began serving Louisiana Bapatists in 1989. She assists the Pastoral Leadership Team in every phase of the team's ministry. Jo Lynn and her husband, Jimmy, have 2 children, Amber and Jake.

• Gary Mitchell - Bivocational/Smaller Church Specialist

• Gary has worked with Louisiana Bivocational Pastors since 1992, helping to organize the Louisiana Bivocational Ministers Association. In 1999 he became a Co-consultant for the Louisiana Baptist Convention and served with retired D.O.M. Carl Burris. In 2001, Bro. Carl retired again and Gary accepted a staff position with the LBC as Strategist for The Bivocational Ministry Department, within the Church Development Division. The department was expanded to include Smaller Churches in 2003, then in 2005, moved to the Pastoral Leadership Team. He served as a successful bivocational pastor for more than 19 years. He and his wife, Elaine, have been married for 49 years. They have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He is one of the Southern Baptists premier leaders among bivocational ministers. He semi-retired in 2009 and currently pastors FBC Chataignier, as well as serving as a co-consultant with Eddie DeHondt in the Pastoral Leadership Team woking with Smaller Churches and Bivocational pastors.

• Eddie joined LBC Pastoral Leadership Team of the Louisiana Baptist Convention in 2009, as Co-consultant, serving in the Northern half of the state working with Bivocational / Smaller Churches and their Pastors. Prior to joining the LBC Pastoral Leadership Team, Eddie ministered in the Northwest Baptist Association as Director of Missions. Under his leadership, the largest and most active Bivocational Fellowship in the convention was formed and served as a benchmark for other associations in the state.
